By default, only the host of the event can download the live stream video. If you want to download a live event or recording that someone else hosted on EventLive, follow these steps.
Check If Downloading Is Allowed
If the download for guests option was enabled by the host of the event, you will see a Download button right below the video
The event host must turn on the download option in the event’s privacy settings.
If the host has not enabled downloads, you will not be able to download the event.
Sometimes, the host may share a direct download link with you.
Important: If you do not see a download option, contact the event host and ask if they can enable downloads or send you the link.
Troubleshooting
I Don’t See a Download Option
The host may not have enabled downloads. Ask the host to check their privacy settings or to send you the download link.
The Event Just Ended and I Can’t Download Yet
Sometimes, the download link is not available until 24 hours after the event ends. This is because the event could still be live or processing.
If you do not see the download button, wait up to 24 hours and try again.
Important Notes
Only the event host can enable downloads or share the download link.
If you are not the host, you cannot access the download unless the host allows it.
Additional Tips
If you want to share the downloaded video with others, make sure you have permission from the event host.
