How to stream with GoPro and EventLive
To live stream with GoPro and EventLive, you will need:
GoPro camera (Hero7, Hero8, Hero9, Hero10, GoPro MAX)
Quik app installed on your phone or tablet. Download Quik App from GoPro here: https://gopro.com/en/us/shop/softwareandapp
EventLive account. Create one FREE here: https://broadcaster.eventlive.pro/
GoPro streaming tips:
Keep your GoPro close to WiFi source or to your phone if using as a hotspot
If you walk away with GoPro or take hotspot away from GoPro the transmission would end
Keep live streaming GoPro away from direct sun for too long. GoPro overheats easily and the stream can stop.
Consider going live from EventLive app instead
Get your RTMP server URL and Event Stream Key
Sign in to EventLive Broadcaster Console and create an event or create a new test event (Test events are completely free!)
In your Broadcaster Console choose "How to / RTMP" tab in your event's details. Copy event's Stream Key. You will need the Full RTMP info for GoPro.
Install Quik App and Connect GoPro
Download and install Quik App on your phone or tablet: https://gopro.com/en/us/shop/softwareandapp
Open Control Your GoPro in the GoPro app
*Find the "LIVE" button at the bottom of the screen
*Click on LIVE and then choose Set Up Live
*Select a platform for your live stream. Choose RTMP.
Make sure you are connected to your preferred internet network.

Resolution should be set at 720p
Please make sure to mark "Save a copy" ON. This is really important, since the file will be recorded directly to the GoPro as you stream.
Click on Set Up Live and Go Live on the next screen
*When you go Live, open your test event link on a different device to see your live stream in the web browser player.
*** PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR STREAM KEY BETWEEN YOUR TEST EVENTS AND ACTUAL EVENT. Stream keys are unique for each live stream!
