EventLive saves a backup of your live stream video directly to your phone while you stream. It’s important to make sure you have enough free storage before your event.
How Much Storage Do You Need?
You need about 5–6 GB of free space per hour of streaming.
What Happens If You Run Out of Storage?
The live stream will continue even if your phone runs out of storage, however, some phones will shut down the app / phone when the it runs out of storage. We always recommend to free up some space before your event.
Only the local recording will stop. Your stream will still be saved on EventLive’s servers, and you can download it later.
Some phones may slow down, freeze, or close apps if storage is full. This can affect your streaming experience.

Important Notes
You cannot turn off local recording. This is a built-in backup feature.
We strongly recommend having enough free space to avoid any issues with your phone’s performance during the event.
