Follow these steps to enable 1080p streaming on your iPhone using the EventLive app.

How to Enable 1080p Streaming

  1. Open your iPhone’s Settings app.

  2. Scroll down and tap on EventLive in the list of apps.

  3. Find the option labeled Use 1080p.

  4. Turn on the Use 1080p switch.

That’s it! Your next live stream will use 1080p resolution.

Important Notes

  • Internet Connection:
Streaming in 1080p requires a strong and stable internet connection. If your connection is not fast enough, your stream may buffer or have interruptions.

  • Default Resolution:
If you do not enable 1080p, EventLive streams at 720p by default. This works best for most internet connections and locations.

  • Saved Video Quality:
The video file saved on your iPhone will be in 1080p, even if you stream at 720p. You can re-upload this higher quality file later if needed.

Troubleshooting

Can’t Find the 1080p Option?

  • Make sure you are looking in the iPhone Settings app, not inside the EventLive app itself.

  • Scroll down the main Settings list until you see EventLive.

  • If you still don’t see the option, try restarting your phone.

Stream is Buffering or Lagging

  • Switch back to 720p by turning off the Use 1080p option in Settings.

  • Move to a location with a stronger Wi-Fi or cellular signal.

  • Close other apps that might be using your internet connection.

Additional Tips

  • Re-upload in 1080p:
If your live stream was in 720p but you want viewers to see the highest quality, you can re-upload the 1080p video file saved on your phone. Go to Event Settings > Personalize in the EventLive app to upload your video.

  • Storage Space:
1080p videos use more storage space on your phone. Make sure you have enough free space before streaming long events.

  • No 4K Streaming:
EventLive currently supports up to 1080p streaming. 4K streaming is not available.
