Using a Microphone with EventLive
You can use an external microphone with the EventLive app to improve your audio quality. Most external microphones that plug directly into your phone or use a wireless receiver will work with EventLive.
How to Use a Microphone with EventLive
Step 1: Choose a Compatible Microphone
Most plug-in microphones (using your phone’s headphone jack or USB-C/Lightning port) work with EventLive.
Wireless microphones with a receiver that plugs into your phone are also compatible.
The Rode Wireless Go or DJI microphone are a popular choice and work well with EventLive.

Restart the EventLive app if you don’t hear any sound.
Test with another device if possible to rule out hardware issues.
EventLive app supports most wireless microphones but some third party microphones might not be supported.
Important Notes
Always test your microphone setup before your actual event. Free test events are available in the app.
The best microphone for you depends on your location and event type. Outdoor events often benefit from an external microphone.
If you are not sure which microphone to use, try a few options and see which one gives you the best sound.
