Why Is My Event Still Locked After Payment?

If you have paid to unlock your event on EventLive but your event is still locked, don’t worry! This can happen for a few reasons. Here’s what you can do to solve it quickly.

What To Do If Your Event Is Still Locked

1. Refresh the App or Website

  • Close the EventLive app or website.

  • Reopen it and check your event again.

  • Sometimes, you may need to go back one screen and then return to your event.

2. Make sure you are logged in to the same account as you used to make the payment.

3. Check Your Payment Method

  • If you paid with Apple, Google, or PayPal, sometimes the unlock can take a few minutes.

  • If you received a payment receipt but your event is still locked, keep it handy.

4. Contact Support

If your event is still locked after refreshing:

  • Reach out to EventLive support through the chat or help section or e-mail us at [email protected]

  • Let us know how you paid (Apple, Google, PayPal, etc.).

  • If you have a payment receipt, please share a screenshot or copy with us. This helps us unlock your event faster.


Common Issues and Solutions

You Deleted and Recreated the Event

  • If you deleted your original event after paying and created a new one, the new event will not be unlocked automatically.

Payment Not Processed Instantly

  • Sometimes, especially with Apple payments, the unlock may not happen right away.

  • If you have a receipt, send it to [email protected] so we can help you quickly.


Important Notes

  • Always double-check your event details before deleting or recreating an event after payment.

  • You can change your event name, link, or other details in the Event Settings without deleting the event.


Additional Tips

  • If you are unsure whether your payment went through, check your email for a receipt from Apple or Google.

  • If you need to update event details, use the Event Settings instead of deleting the event.
