You can give a trusted friend or videographer the instructions they need to broadcast your event. The broadcast link is different from the link your guests use to watch.
Open your unlocked event and go to How to Go Live.
Choose the streaming method the broadcaster will use.
In Delegate going Live, select Share Instructions.
Send those instructions privately to the person who will stream. Follow the selected method’s setup instructions and test before the event.
If you see Buy Event to Share, unlock the event first. The shared instructions can let the recipient go live without signing in to your account; you do not need to give them your account password.
Keep the two links separate
Guest viewing link: share this with the audience.
Broadcast link or stream key: send only to the trusted person operating the stream. Do not put it in a public invitation.
Only one broadcaster can stream at a time. Coordinate who starts and stops, use the test setup before the real event, and check that the event schedule and timezone are correct. If broadcast instructions reach the wrong person, contact support before relying on them again.
