EventLive allows you to start, pause, and resume your live stream as many times as you need within a 24-hour period from when you first go live. There is no separate "End Stream" button.

How Live Streams Work on EventLiv

  • You can start and stop (pause) your live stream as many times as you want within 24 hours of your first broadcast.

  • There is no option to permanently end or close the stream before the 24-hour window is over.

Steps to Finish Your Live Stream

  1. When your event is over, simply stop / pause broadcasting from your device.

  2. The replay of everything streamed up to that point will be available at your event link.

How to Let Viewers Know the Event is Over

  • Before you stop streaming, speak directly to your audience and thank them for joining. Let them know the event is over.

  • You can display a sign or message on camera that says "Thank you for watching" or "The event has ended."

Important Notes

  • You can resume streaming at any time within the 24-hour period using the same link.

  • There is no way to change the "paused" message to "ended" at this time.

Accidentally Stopped the Stream

  • You can start streaming again at any time within the 24-hour window using the same link.

Additional Tips

  • If you have multiple parts to your event (like a ceremony and a reception), you can pause and resume the stream as needed.

  • You do not need to create a new link for each part of your event.

  • If you want to make it clear the event is over, use a closing message or thank your viewers before stopping the stream.
