You can stream to the same EventLive link as many times as you need within a 24-hour period from the time you start the live stream. Here’s how it works and what you need to know.

How Streaming to the Same Link Works

  • When you start your live stream, a 24-hour window begins.

  • You can pause and restart your stream as many times as you want during this 24-hour period.

  • All streams within this window will use the same event link.

  • Viewers can use the same link to watch any part of your stream or replay.

Step-by-Step: Streaming Multiple Times in 24 Hours

  1. Start your live stream at your chosen time.

  2. If you need to take a break, simply pause your stream.

  3. When you are ready to go live again, start streaming to the same event link.

  4. Repeat as needed, as long as you are within the 24-hour window from when you first started streaming.

Example

  • If you start streaming at 3:00 PM on Friday, you can pause and restart your stream as many times as you want until 3:00 PM on Saturday.

Important Notes

  • The 24-hour period starts when you begin your first live stream, not when you create the event.

  • You can extend the 24-hour window by using our Multi-day event option.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • If you cannot start a new stream to the same link, check if your 24-hour window has ended. If it has, you will need to create a new event.

  • If your viewers cannot access the stream, make sure you are streaming within the original 24-hour window.

Additional Tips

  • All video streamed within the 24-hour window will be available for replay at the same link.
