When you create a multi-day event on EventLive, each day you add is a consecutive 24-hour period. Here’s what you need to know about how multi-day events work and how to set them up.

How Multi-Day Events Work

  • Each event day is a 24-hour period.

  • Multi-day events are always for consecutive days. For example, a 2-day event covers 48 continuous hours.

  • You can start and stop your stream as many times as you want within each 24-hour period.

  • You will be able to use the same link for all cosecutive days, when selecting the Multi-day option

Setting Up a Multi-Day Event

  1. When creating your event, select the Multi-day event option.

  2. Choose the number of consecutive days you need for your event.

  3. Each additional day adds another 24-hour period to your event.

Example:
If your event runs from 6pm to 11pm on two consecutive days, you need to select a 2-day event. This will cover 48 hours from your chosen start time.

Important Notes

  • Non-Consecutive Days:
Multi-day events must be for consecutive days. You cannot skip days between event days in a single multi-day event.

  • Event Credits:
Each day of a multi-day event counts as one event credit. For example, a 2-day event uses 2 credits.

  • Streaming Time:
You can stream at any time during each 24-hour period. For example, you can stream for a few hours in the evening, stop, and then resume the next day within your event window.

If your event happens on non-consecutive days, you will need to create separte links for each day and pay for them separately.

Troubleshooting and Common Questions

I only need to stream a few hours each day. Do I still need to pay for each day?

Yes. Each 24-hour period counts as one event day, even if you only stream for a few hours.

Can I create a multi-day event with non-consecutive days?

No. Multi-day events must be for consecutive days. If your event days are not consecutive, create separate single-day events for each day.

I scheduled a 2-day event but only need 1 day. Can I change it?

Yes! Contact support with your event details, and we can adjust your event and return the extra credit.

Additional Tips

  • If you have several events, consider buying a credit pack for a discount. Credits do not expire.

  • If you need to extend your event to more days, you can do that in the Title, Date, Event Links tab of the event
